Painless nail correction system

How Does Onyfix Work?

The principle of the Onyfix nail correction system is to bring an involuted or ingrown nail back into a natural shape through normal growth without any tension or pain. This is done by applying the Onyfix composite to the proximal part of the nail (the part closest to the base of the nail). The Onyfix composite is then applied to the nail and shaped correctly. After the composite has hardened, the Onyfix brace keeps the nail in that shape on the nail without any tension, ensuring that the nail grows straight. For more people, an application takes no more than 15 minutes.

When the treatment has been completed, the composite is removed in a process that is also pain-free.

Onyfix Treatment Timeline

The Onyfix system remains on the nail for 2-4 months (depends on nail growth). When the toenail grows, the band will grow with the toenail. We recommend 3-4 bands with regular maintenance appointments in between applications.

Total treatment time depends on severity of ingrown toenail/curvature of nail but often complete in 9-18 months.

Once complete, the composite is removed and the nail continues to grow natrually.
